A few days ago we had the first meeting between the facilitators of the project. The meeting was held at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Seville, with Yiló attending as organizers and trainers, and KAMIRA (National Federation of Roma Women’s Associations) as trainers on their previous experience as fieldwork team in the RoMOMatteR project.

The meeting aimed to present the facilitators’ future work, which is essential. They will guide the future participants, plan and adapt group processes to each one of them, create and maintain a participatory environment.

After leaving a few minutes to introduce themselves and get to know each other, Yiló presented the project and its objectives, leaving space for reflection among all the attendees and to exchange experiences and ideas. After these moments, KAMIRA made a presentation on their experience carrying out the fieldwork in the RoMOMatteR project (2019 -2021). They focused on lessons learnt, challenges encountered, and good practices recommended; solving the doubts raised by the attendees about their future role.
